We're on the fence between Package 1 or 2 for our wedding. What do you see as the main pros/cons of each?
I want to book, what are my next steps?
I strive for vibrance and quality in my films, I want the emotion and the feeling of the moment to come through the screen every time you rewatch it.
In terms of the in-person filming experience, I am very easy going and conversational, I want to make the experience all about you and what you want to do, while offering helpful advice and direction where I can. Your filming day should be fun and all about you, so it's my goal to make sure that happens to the best of my ability.
I choose the music to best fit the scenery, style of the event, and personality of the client. If you have specific genres you like, I can do my best to work with that!
I edit the films over the course of 3 months, although it can be finished before the full 3 months. It typically takes between 60-80 hours to edit it. My process starts with labeling all of the footage, and then doing my best to tell your story as I show the most beautiful and important moments and details from your day. I have a questionnaire that I send to all couples who book, that will give me great insight into what's important to you guys.
Package 1 is obviously the most budget friendly, however you don't get near as much footage and variety with that, as its just me filming the day.
Package 2 almost doubles the amount of footage I have to work with, so it will get you so many unique angles and perspectives that I couldn't capture by myself. For example, when the bride is coming down the aisle, having two shooters allows me to follow her down the aisle, as well as capture the groom's reaction. That moment would be so much more difficult to capture without a second shooter. The second shooter also allows for some drone footage during the ceremony, which would be impossible with just myself. For only a few hundred dollars more, I always recommend that to get the best film.
It's a three step process, then you are fully booked!
1. Sign a contract that I will sign and send over to you.
2. Put a deposit down, $100 or more will reserve your date.
3. Fill out the questionnaire, it's vital to helping me best capture your day.
